قبل أن تطمع في صداقة الآخرين.. تعلم أولا أن تكون أفضل صديق لنفسك

من منا لا يبحث عن بناء علاقات ناجحة و متميزة مع الآخرين؟ و من منا لا يسعى إلى أن يكون محبوباً في البيئة الإجتماعية التي يعيش فيها ؟ مع ذلك، الكثير منا يصاب بخيبة الأمل في تكوين علاقات سوية مع كثير من الناس الذين يصادفهم أو يعاشرهم في حياته. فالقليل منا يملك شبكة أصدقاء قو...ية و فعالة في الحياة الواقعية. لهذا السبب بالذات اتسعت الشبكات الاجتماعية الافتراضية على رأسها الفيس بوك. فلينظر كل واحد منا إلى هذه الصداقات الرائعة التي نمت و تقوت مع الأيام مع إخوة و أخوات لا نعرفهم و لا يعرفوننا إلا من خلال التواصل الصامت من وراء حجاب، و تبادل الأفكار حول المواضيع التي يطرحها كل واحد منا و يتفاعل معها الآخرون بود. و بفضل التشابك و التفاعل المستمر و اليومي، أصبح الجميع يحمل لأصدقائه من الاحترام و التقدير ما لا نجده عادة على أرض الواقع. ترى لو كنا أبناء حي واحد أو عمارة سكنية واحدة، هل ستكون صداقتنا من القوة و الفعالية مثل ما هي عليه الآن في العالم الافتراضي؟ هل الصداقة على أرض الواقع هي نفسها الصداقة من وراء الشاشات و الكابلات؟
و نتيجة للفشل في بناء العلاقات الواقعية، معظمنا يلقي باللوم على الآخرين و يعتقد أن لا أحد يفهمه في هذا العالم. لكن هل نتبع الخطوات الكفيلة ببناء علاقات واقعية متينة و قوية مع الناس؟
هذا السؤال المهم تجيب عنه كارول جازكيل مؤلفة كتاب "التدريب على الحياة" بقولها : إذا أردت أن تبني علاقات قوية و جيدة في حياتك، سواء مع أصدقائك أو أفراد أسرتك أو عملائك أو زملائك أو مع شريكة/شريك الحياة، فمن المهم أن تقوي علاقتك مع نفسك أولاً. كلما زاد إيمانك بنفسك واحترامك لها، و كلما زاد شعورك الداخلي بأنك شخص جذاب، انعكس ذلك بشكل أكبر على العالم المحيط بك. قبل أن تبحث عن الصفات التي تريدها في الآخرين، فكر فيما يمكنك القيام به حتى تتبنى أنت هذه الصفات المرغوبة
