الأبعاد الإستراتيجية لدور إدارة الموارد البشرية:
يمكننا إيجاز الأبعاد الإستراتيجية لأدوار ومهام إدارة الموارد البشرية فيما يلي:
 تأمين الموارد أو العناصر البشرية المناسبة والمؤهلة تأهيلاً علمياً معاصراً، والذي تحتاجه المؤسسة، وذلك من خلال إستراتيجية واضحة ومحددة تتكامل وتتوافق مع الإستراتيجية العامة للمؤسسة، بمعنى المشاركة الفعالة في تحقيق المؤسسة لرسالتها، ورؤيتها، وغاياتها، وأهدافها ووسائلها.
 ولن تتمكن إدارة الموارد البشرية من توفير هذه العناصر أو الموارد البشرية، وجعلها قوة عمل حقيقية وفعالة ومفيدة داخل المؤسسة، وتدين لها بالانتماء والولاء، وتعمل بكل طاقاتها وإمكانياتها لرفع شأن المؤسسة إلا من خلال خطة إستراتيجية طويلة المدى،
 تشتمل على رؤية واضحة، ورسالة محددة، وأهداف واقعية قابلة للتطبيق العملي بعيدة عن الفلسفات النظرية وسياسات وبرامج وإجراءات في مجال التحفيز المعنوي والمادي لهذا المورد البشري، فضلاً عن تهيئة وتوفير بيئة عمل مناسبة تمكّن هذا المورد أو العنصر البشري من استخراج إبداعاته وابتكاراته، فضلا عن القيام بأداء واجبات عمله.
 على إدارة الموارد البشرية وهي تقوم بإعداد إستراتيجيتها وتحديد دورها داخل المؤسسة أن تتماشى هذه الإستراتيجية مع الاتجاهات الحديثة والمتطورة التي انتشرت أو المتوقع انتشارها عالمياً في المدى المنظور، وذلك في جميع المجالات: الإدارية، والإنتاجية، والتسويقية، والقانونية.. وغيرها من مجالات البيئة الخارجية.
 ينبغي للمؤسسة أن توفر العناصر البشرية المؤهلة والمتخصصة والمحترفة للعمل في إدارة الموارد البشرية، حتى يتسنى لهذه الإدارة القيام بمهامها، والأعمال المنوط بها، والمتوقعة وغير المتوقعة منها، فضلاً عن تحقيقها لآمال المؤسسة المنعقدة عليها
 على إدارة الموارد البشرية القيامُ بتحديث البرامج والسياسات المتعلقة بالموارد البشرية، وجعلها متوافقة مع الاتجاهات الحديثة المتعلقة بالموارد البشرية، وهذه البرامج وتلك السياسات الحديثة من شأنها زيادةُ الإنتاجية والفعالية والجودة مما يؤدي إلى نجاح المؤسسة وازدهارها.
 على إدارة الموارد البشرية أن تعمل من خلال التكامل والتنسيق والتعاون مع الإدارات الأخرى داخل المؤسسة، لكي تضمن نجاح إستراتيجيتها، فمسؤولية إدارة الموارد البشرية مسؤولية تشترك فيها جميع الإدارات عن طريق مديريها، وخاصة الإدارة المباشرة، والإدارة الوسطى، وهما الإدارتان المنوط بهما وضعُ إستراتيجية إدارة الموارد البشرية موضعَ التنفيذ على أرض الواقع العملي.
 وهذا التكامل والتنسيق والتعاون بين مديري الإدارات ومدير إدارة الموارد البشرية في المؤسسة، والحرص عليه يؤدي إلى تفادي مديري الإدارات في المؤسسة الوقوعَ في بعض الأخطاء ومنها:
1) وضع الموظف أو العامل أو المورد البشري المتاح للمؤسسة في وظيفة لا تتناسب وإمكاناته وقدراته، سواء كانت إمكاناته وقدراته أكبر أو أقل من مهام هذه الوظيفة.
2) عدم استغلال طاقات الموارد البشرية الاستغلالَ الأمثل أو الأفضل، بل هَدْر هذه الطاقات، وذلك بارتفاع معدلات دوران العمل بينهم.
3) تدني وانخفاض الروح المعنوية لدي العاملين في المؤسسة، وزيادة شعورهم بعدم الانتماء والولاء، مما يؤدي إلى تباطؤهم وعدم مبالاتهم عند قيامهم بأداء واجباتهم نحو العمل المَنُوط بهم، وهذا يؤثر بشكل سلبي على معدلات الإنتاجية، وعلى جودة المنتج، مما يترتب عليه انخفاضُ رضا العميل أو المستهلِك، مما يُفقد المؤسسة حصتَها السوقية، وتعرضها لأخطار المنافسة القاسية، والتي قد تودي بالمؤسسة إلى الخروج من إطار المنافسة كلياً، ومن ثم انهيارها
4) شعور بعض العاملين بالاضطهاد أو بعدم العدالة من رؤسائهم المباشرين أو غير المباشرين، والذي قد يتأصل في نفوسهم من خلال التفرقة في المعاملة الإنسانية أو المادية بينهم وبين أقرانهم في المؤسسة، مما يدفعُهم إلى التقصير في أداء مهام وواجبات أعمالهم، أو اللجوء إلى ردود أفعال سلبية، تصب كلها في غير صالحهم أو في غير صالح المؤسسة ككل.
5) الإهمال والتقصير في وضع برامج تأهيل وتدريب فعالة ومستمرة، للتنمية والنهوض بقدرات ومهارات الموارد البشرية، مما يؤثر على فاعلية ومستويات أدائها داخل المؤسسة، وهذا ليس في صالح المؤسسة بلا شك.
6) ممارسة بعض السلوكيات غير المناسبة، والخارجة عن الأخلاقيات من قبل المسئولين على اختلاف درجاتهم الوظيفية.. في بعض الأحيان داخل بيئة العمل.
7) عدم تقدير ومراعاة الفوارق الفردية، والثقافات، والمعتقدات المختلفة للعاملين داخل بيئة العمل.
